The Department of Education of Foreign Citizens (hereinafter – DEFC) was created in 2013 as part of the Center for International Activities. DEFC works with foreign students of higher education.
The Department of Education of Foreign Citizens performs the following functions:
- advertising activities to attract foreign citizens and stateless persons (hereinafter referred to as foreigners) to study;
- issuing invitations to study;
- Issuance of orders regarding the enrollment, expulsion and renewal of studies of foreigners;
reporting activity; - issuance of necessary letters, confirmations, archival and other certificates;
- issuance of education documents and their duplicates;
- cooperation with embassies (consulates), border services, migration services and the Security Service of Ukraine;
- conclusion of contracts with subjects of entrepreneurial activity regarding the involvement of foreigners for training.
Currently, the Department of Education of Foreign Citizens of the Center for International Activities of ONTU is headed by Halyna KASIANENKO.
